Zachary Cronin

Hey, I’m Zach. I completed Year 12 in 2024 at Cranbrook School and I’m currently studying Mechanical Engineering at UNSW. I achieved a Band E4 (band 6) in Mathematics Extension 1 and a Band E3 (band 5) in Mathematics Extension 2, and I’ve always enjoyed mathematics for how logical and problem-solving focused it is.

Tutoring is rewarding to me because I love helping students truly understand ideas rather than just memorising steps. My teaching style focuses on mastering the fundamentals first, then applying those core concepts to harder questions with clear strategies and plenty of guided practice. I aim to build confidence, encourage curiosity, and help students feel more motivated and capable in their learning.

I’m open to tutoring all ages but I do specialise in helping those in years 11-12 for advanced, extension 1 and extension 2
