Rosie

Hi, my name is Rosie! I’m a University of Melbourne graduate, with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English and Theatre Studies and Ancient World Studies. I have since moved back to Sydney to obtain my Masters of Secondary Teaching at the University of Sydney majoring in English and Ancient History. I am a confident, caring, and professional young woman with a passion for learning, especially focused on year 11 and year 12 and the HSC. I enjoy real connection and communication with my students and their families, and aim to adapt to the student’s needs, as everyone learns differently and develops uniquely. I don’t solely focus on results, but also student’s confidence in themselves and their abilities. Seeing smiles and passion for a subject is always the goal! I have worked with autistic, ADHD, and dyslexic students before, and I am keenly aware of learning difficulties and strategies to navigate them. I am highly organised, prompt, and will maintain accountability within my students and myself to achieve their goals. I attended Ascham School with an ATAR of 97, I am an honour roll student of five out of six of my HSC subjects, and was also given the McKieran Honour Board Prize for creative work in the school in 2022. My subjects for year 12 were Visual Arts, Drama, Ancient History, Modern History, English Advanced, and English Extension One.
