Alex Tipene Matua

Hi I'm Alex! I graduated from the University of Canterbury in 2016 with a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics and International Business. I then went on to complete my CPA whilst working as an accountant at KPMG. I have continued to work in the finance and technology sector since leaving KPMG. Whilst I attended school in New Zealand I did a rowing exchange in Brisbane at St Margaret's Anglican Girls School, leading me to create some great connections in Brisbane, many of whom I still have today. 

Working full time, studying and competing in sports events all at the same time taught me time management, the value of hard work and how to find joy in the process! 

My aim in tutoring is to create supportive and engaging individualised experiences where students feel they can ask questions, reach their full potential and be proud of themselves.
